S.O.S. north america provides you with a unique opportunity to showcase your faith-based service and connect with your community. The simple and easy to use format provides a friendly place that allows those in need to discover the services you provide.

Every one of us has come across someone we knew needed help but weren’t sure where to find it, and each outreach can’t on their own provide every service need that arises. Their resources would be used up in no time.

By listing all services in one place, we can uncover what areas are being served and those that are underserved. This allows us to work together as a community to fill more gaps than working tirelessly as individuals could ever accomplish.

A listing can be a church, prayer center, non-profit, event or any other form of faith-based service that operates as an outreach or extension of the Body of Christ.

“The Mission”
The Mission of Spirit Outreach Services (S.O.S.) is to build up The Body of Christ in local communities by bridging the gap between faith-based services and those in need.

What does S.O.S. do to bridge those gaps?

1. Provides an online directory website to allow postings of all faith-based services available in our communities: sosnorthamerica.com

2. Empowers The Body of Christ to establish and maintain a prayer and fellowship center where the community can come together in unity and one accord.

3. Works with local churches to make the Love of God visibly present in the heart of our communities, lighting a flame that spreads throughout North America.

“The Movement “
How will S.O.S. benefit the local churches and community?

Churches are all different and teach in different ways, but those with a core concept of who Christ is know they are part of the greater Body.

S.O.S. is not a replacement for someone’s home church. It is a means to help connect the needs believers come across with the faith based ministry that is able to meet it.

Establishing new or renewed faith in Christ is the driving force behind this movement. When someone is in need, the Body of Christ should be the first place they turn for help. And when they do, the Word of God and the news of His saving grace should be at the core of those interactions.

Spiritual, emotional and physical needs arise in every community. As those urgencies are met, new and renewed believers need the pastoral care and fellowship only a home church can provide.

With each member of the Body working together to fill these needs, the community will see the love we have for one another and know that we are His disciples. Members are less likely to fall away from churches when they are more than a spectator and become beacons of light drawing in others.

“The Moment”
Why is S.O.S. so important?

Every minute that passes without reaching and teaching the next generation of leaders is a moment never regained.

Each of us have been gifted with a certain set of tools to make a difference. Combine that with a sense of God-given confidence that we are called according to His purposes and we have an amazing opportunity for His Glory to shine forth.

It’s time to make a difference in the lives of those around us. We have been prepared for such a time as this. Today is our day to set the benchmark for how the Body of Christ can work together in a community and encourage other communities to establish similar displays of His Great Love. Each of us can make a huge impact!

How will you seize this moment?
How can you give someone else that opportunity?
